Title: Finish Line
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us… – Hebrews 12:1c
I attend the Indy 500 every year, and it is great. It’s not all about the wrecks or action. But for the paths, the drivers took to compete and their strides to get the desired result. I remember that in 2021, winner Helio Castroneves was set aside from his traditional racing team as he was deemed “not worthy” of being a top team. He had hit his ceiling. Well, his goal was to work hard and win. It was also a team goal. Another win in his book.
No matter what team we are on, our goal needs to be the same: to get each other to the finish line, God’s Kingdom, so that we may celebrate eternity with each other.
