Title: Difficult things
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us… – Hebrews 12:1c
Last year I started doing p90x. I know, crazy, but I needed to get my weight under control for health reasons. I know there are way easier ways to lose weight but this was the most effective for me. I started out ok but the workouts are extreme and my will soon began to wane, even though I was seeing some extreme results. So with much encouragement, I pressed on and soon reached my goals.
The ways of the Lord are not for the faint of heart. It takes a strong man to take this journey. The Lord will ask difficult things from us and we must, at all costs, persevere for hearing the phrase “well done my good and faithful servant” will outweigh any earthly pain we may suffer.
