Title: Moments of Temptation
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12
The devil will attack you when you’re in a weak position, both physically and emotionally. Jesus was attacked after He had fasted for 40 days. The Bible tells us that Jesus had fasted for forty days and forty nights, and afterward, He was famished. The devil attempted to attack Jesus at one of his lowest points physically.
Jesus used the Word of God in those moments of temptation. Like Jesus, we must be ready to use the Word when tempted.
