Title: Words in Results out
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.– Hebrews 4:12
Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax.” Working with a sharp tool will make you more effective and efficient, and the job will be easier.
Each one of us is made up of body, brain, heart, and soul—these are the tools we have been given to work within this life. To keep your body in shape, you have to go to the gym or work out. To keep your mind, heart, and soul really sharp, you need to spend time in the Word.
How do you check your attitude? How do you keep yourself from sin? By spending time in the Word. It can’t be now and then. It has to be a daily activity to keep your tools sharp.
Real men spend time in the Word.
