Title: Fuel for men.


For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12


When we think of fuel, we naturally think of gas for the car or boat or the gas/oil mixture for the chainsaw. But what happens when we use the wrong fuel? It won’t run too well, correct? Fuel for us men is the same as it relates to the word in scripture. We must remember what we take in as fuel. Reading from a newspaper or news on TV is the wrong fuel.


John 6:63 Jesus said, “It is the spirit that gives life. “So, it is the word of God that produces life. It is the correct fuel we need.


Men, remember, while what we read is the fuel we take in, we are fuel for others. We must share HIS word as fuel for others, not our words.

 Real Men take in and share the right fuel.

Rebecca and I have lived in SW Florida since 2018, moving from Valparaiso, IN, where they raised three children, William III, Patrick, and Rachel. Bill and Rebecca have been married for 29 years. I currently work for White Lodging Services, and Rebecca is officially retired from school teaching. As a couple, we attend Cape Vineyard Community Church in Cape Coral, FL. Rebecca and I are very active at Cape Vineyard: Rebecca in children’s ministry, and I in band media and supporting facilities.
My interests include Hunting/Fishing and traveling with Rebecca to visit the children and grandchildren. My happy place is the UP of Michigan, where Rebecca and I share time their now.
