For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12
I love the conviction of the Lord, It is like cutting the rotten part of out of a piece of fruit. You loose a little but you still have a good piece of fruit. However if you didn’t cut it out, not only would the whole piece of fruit rotten, but it would spoil all the fruit it is touching. When the word of God convicts you of a wrong attitude or behavior you know it is the truth. Embrace it, consume it as fuel!
