Title: Repetition and Practice
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16
Play to win. Don’t play to lose. For anyone who’s ever competed in sports or any other type of contest, you know the difference. Think about it too long, hesitate, second-guess . . . and you’re toast! If you’ve diligently prepared through repetition and practice, then during the competition, you simply execute. Make a mistake? Brush it off and get back to execution.
The same is true for our spiritual lives. If we prepare through spiritual disciplines that feed real relationships with the Holy Spirit, then when life comes our way, we simply live from the Spirit! And when the desires of the flesh arise, brush it off and get back to execution.
Real Men Play to Win.
