Title: Constant Prayer
Pray continually… – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Some people find the Bible’s shortest verse, “Pray without ceasing,” a mystery.
Notice the word “always”— Prayer does not need to be a formal time or place. It can be thoughts or remembering things throughout the day that reflect God in your life and what He does for us.
Praying without ceasing is something we should do constantly, not necessarily continuously. In other words, prayer should be constantly recurring. This requires an attitude of diligence and trust. It also helps to have some regular habits of prayer. We should devise triggers and prompts to remind ourselves to pray at certain daily moments. Prayer should be willful communication with a Creator, not a box we check daily.
Real men pray Constantly.
