Title: Flowing Conversation with God.
Pray continually… – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Pray continually? How does that even look? This verse had me stumped for a long time. I didn’t even know what that looked like until I finally simplified it for myself. Bowing our heads, closing our eyes, and folding our hands or kneeling are all customs of praying, but they are not prayers themselves. Sometimes, doing these customs and shutting out all distractions is of great value. But there is also great value in fellowship with God every moment of the day.
Praying doesn’t require a voice, a specific place, a specific time, or a particular posture.
Prayer is communication with God; we can live each minute of the day in a constant, flowing conversation with God.
We are never in a place where we can’t pray.
