Title: Don’t go empty
Pray Continually. – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
When your gas light comes on, as men, what do most of us do? We keep going, pushing the limits just to see how far we can go. Just like when our gas light comes on, we typically only think about praying when we are in a time of crisis and great need. Pushing the limits and going as far as we can without help.
However, the context of this verse gives us a different description of prayer: Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstance… – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Today, I encourage you to be prayed up and not wait until you are on empty to turn to God. Always be full and constantly tell Him what you are thankful for.
