Ever fret over the economy? Worry about godlessness in the nation? Wonder how God can allow evil and oppression to continue?
Even if you haven’t yet, if the Bible’s teachings on the end times continue to play out in your lifetime, you may soon. Nations will war, and evil will abound. False religions will flourish. Droves will starve.
Listen: We are called to light and salt the earth, not usurp the providence of God. What is communicated and demonstrated throughout biblical and world history is that God’s pretty much got it under control regarding things like politics, geography, sociology, or spirituality.
What have you fretted about today? Where do you find yourself pointing on the map or in the news, reminding God He’d better do something quickly? When do you act as if God needs your help to do His job?
