I am amazed at how many people don’t seem to like quiet. They always have something going on. Earbuds in, iPod on, smartphone, computer, TV, always something.
Is that you? With all that noise, are you able to hear God’s voice?
Can I suggest something? An experiment: take a day, an hour, or even 20 minutes and turn off the electronics. Go for a walk, take a stroll in a forest, stand on the beach, and watch the tide roll in. Glorify God for what He has done, what He has made, and who He is. He wants your undivided attention. He’s calling. Can you hear him? Will you answer?
