Title- Proactive or Reactive?
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. – Ephesians 6:12
I love to hunt, especially dove hunt, but I am not a very good shot. In fact, the first time I ever hunted for them, I shot 325 rounds with my shotgun and only got nine birds. My buddy used to say, “You got to put the lead in the air to hit something,” and that’s what I call a sound strategy to engage the quarry.I jest, of course, but it caused me to think about our struggle with our enemy. Too often, we are on the defensive and not actively engaging in the fight but letting the enemy bring the fight to us. Let me remind you guys we serve a living and powerful God. It is through His power, not ours that we can defeat this enemy. As the scripture says, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)
Real Men take it to the enemy.
