Title: Press through with courage
Finally, be strong in the Lord and the power of his mighty power. – Eph. 6:10
During WWII, my grandfather was in the Navy. He was stationed on the USS Enterprise when a hole was punched in it by a Kamikaze pilot. He spent 24 hours in the Pacific Ocean before being rescued. I’d say the guy had the courage just because of that. Courage is pressing through fear and doing something you are afraid to do.
My grandfather was a gentle, God-fearing man who loved his family, unlike other men of his generation. Through all that he endured, he sacrificed for us all. He put God first; he prayed for all of us and cared more about us than this world’s things. THAT makes Roy Timmons courageous to me.
How do you display the courage to your family? What can you do today to be strong in the Lord and show that to others?
Real Men display courage by sacrificing for their families.
