As a hunter, I would never think of taking the same weapon to hunt gray squirrels and black bears. I would choose a 22-caliber rifle or a shotgun to hunt squirrels, but I would take a large-caliber rifle to hunt bears. When hunting, it is critical to take the right weapon for the proper hunt. While the Bible and prayer are effective weapons against temptation, they aren’t the only weapons in our spiritual arsenal. Don’t overlook the various spiritual disciplines available, such as meditation, fasting, service, humility, giving, silence, etc. A hunter can never have too many weapons in his arsenal. Investigate the spiritual disciplines available to you and happy hunting.
Real Men succeed because they all the weapons in their arsenal.
