Title: God is Calling
“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.”– Psalm 82:3
Upon studying the above verse, especially in its context, the saying, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,” comes to mind. God is calling out those who have been granted the responsibility to uphold justice and have failed to do so.
While many of us do not hold the literal office of judge, officer, or political representative—all of us are required to represent God’s character in the face of oppression, injustice, and exploitation.
It is important to remember that God, like us, does not tolerate injustice. We should not stand by and allow it to happen.
Real Men take a stand against evil.
