Title: Helping others
Defend the cause of the weak and the fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. – Psalm 82:3
Ask yourself this tough question: “As a Christian, who or what do you spend most of your time defending God? Jesus? The Bible?”
Sometimes I wonder if we get too caught up in debates and issues. What about the people who need help? What about those who don’t have their parents? The homeless?
Here are a few things you could do:
- Volunteer at a soup kitchen.
- Donate clothes to a clothing closet.
- Buy a meal for someone in need.
- Help out in an afterschool program or give money to a charity.
Pick one of these things and go for it! You might be surprised at how much you can get out of helping others!
