For the battle is not yours, but God’s – 2 Chronicles 20:15c
What a fantastic place to stand in! To know that I don’t have to fret or finagle a solution to my distress. I can stand and know that HE is God, HE works ALL things out for good, and HE has my best interests in mind. When I can remain in that space, I experience a peace that passes all understanding (Philippians 4:4-7). The problem is I spend WAY TOO much time thinking about stuff I can do nothing about. When you find yourself here, remember this verse: “For the battle is not yours but God’s.”
