Title: Recognize the line
“For the battle is not yours, but God’s” 2 Chronicles 20:15c
Can you imagine what it would be like to fight without God? Maybe you can’t or maybe you have tried. If you have tried you have probably found out the hard way that it’s extremely difficult. It’s like trying to make a car work with no fuel, oil or battery!
Many of the battles fought in the Old Testament were won because God was guiding them. Moses stood on a mountain top with his hands raised until the battle was over and had the help of his friends to keep his hands raised so they would win the battle! Without God, they would have failed and lost!
The enemy will try to tell you again and again, “You don’t need God. You can make it on your own.” Recognize that lie, and refuse to go into battle with that sort of false confidence.
Let us be men who battle not on our own strength, but with God.
Real men battle with God.
