Title: Work in progress
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58
Many of us wonder, What would Jesus do in an election year?
It’s crucial to remember that Jesus transcends political affiliations. He is not for any of the parties, and political parties do not speak on behalf of Jesus or His Father. God speaks for Himself, and He does so through the Bible.
Jesus was solely focused on glorifying God with a focus on His Father’s plan, not the left or the right.
There are four things to remember.
1. Allow your faith in Jesus and his word to help form your political views, not vice versa.
2. Keep your hope in Jesus stronger than your hope for political change or government.
3. Pray for our current and future political leaders.
4. Be in the Word daily.
Real Men know a country without God first is not a good place to be.
