Title: It’s called today
Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called today. – Hebrews 3:13a
God has promised us blessings, but we can not allow stubbornness, sin, or a lack of faith to rob us of that promise. Like the Israelites wandering the desert for forty years, we, too, can lose faith in God’s promise.
A key to avoiding this pitfall is the influence of other Christian men. Having a meaningful, personal relationship with other Christian men means “watching each other’s back.” It means lifting each other up and warning our brothers in Christ when they are being pulled away. The writer is using the phrase “as long as it is called ‘today.'” For our times, this means don’t wait, “do it while you still can.”
Reach out to a brother today and encourage one another.
