WARNING! WARNING! PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!!
That is what I hear when I read this verse. Everyone has seen the guy trying to show off to his friends and fails miserably. It never fails when I begin to think that I am more important than I am. I get knocked down a few notches. Luke 14:7-11 Jesus tells a parable about sitting at the best seat in the house then being asked to move to the back by the host. That will bruise the ego!
