Title: Extinguish a prideful – fall
Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall – Deuteronomy 6:5
Pride is such a big problem. The issues it can cause are endless. Why is that? It is one of the tools that Satan goes to the most. Pride can get us into trouble so fast that we don’t even see it coming. It is the speed that we get caught up in. We need to think with the end in mind and the consequences of our actions. When Satan tempted Jesus, Satan used pride as the root of all his temptations. Jesus knew this, set pride aside, and let the Word of God dictate the outcome.
Do we stop and look at what we are faced with? Do we let God handle our situations? Do we know God’s Word to battle prideful conditions? Using these few questions can extinguish a prideful fall before it’s too late.
