Title: Live in freedom
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. – John 8:32
Sometimes the truth hurts. Like a steel pan slapped upside your head. Sometimes that might be precisely what you need to wake you up after it rings your bell.
Lies are snares. They enslave us. We think the lies we tell are working for us. In reality, we are serving them. It’s often easier to lie than, to tell the truth. The truth is hard as a steel plate. It is solid, impenetrable, and sure. Because the truth is factual, it can be trusted. Living a lifestyle of telling the truth is freeing. It sets us free from the shackles that tie us down when we lie. Jesus was the truth incarnate. He alone breaks those chains of sin and lies and sets us free. Embrace Him and be set free.
Do your kids or friends see you telling “little white” lies? Are you in chains? Do you need to confess some things to someone? Is living in the freedom of the truth a lifestyle at your home?
