Title: Strong Enough
The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. – Psalm 28:8
A few summers back, I broke my ankle while camping with the family. It required surgery, leaving me on crutches for two months, a cane for a few weeks, and physical therapy for six weeks.
I’ve never felt weaker. Even after I was “better,” I couldn’t jump, run, or move as I could before. Strength had left me.
That’s a horrible feeling for a man. And I think because we hate that feeling, it keeps us from trying some stuff the Lord is leading us into. If the Lord is leading you, he will provide the strength. Be confident in this. He isn’t looking to you because you are “strong enough.” He is looking to you because you will trust in His strength.
What are you avoiding because you don’t want to feel weak?
