Title: Resilient Passion
Love the LORD with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. – Deut. 6:5
Gladiator. Braveheart. 300. Just a few epic film examples of men who possessed resilient passion and the steel to withstand insurmountable odds in battle, even at the eventual expense of their very lives.
Our spiritual victories, similar to these stories, are often not measured by a total defeat of the enemy—but by the passion and devotion of the warrior’s heart.
God does not expect us to win every battle and defeat every foe. What He does expect is that we love Him passionately despite what comes against us. What is it that seems to be coming against you in your spiritual life? What seems insurmountable?
Real men posses the steel to remain passionate no matter the opposition.
