Title: God’s Children
Till I die, I will not deny my Integrity – Job 27:5b
Spiritual integrity is the state of being undivided, along with the quality of self-honesty. It demands a considerable depth of self-awareness and an uncompromising willingness to be authentic. This is a definition I read online, and yes, it can be like a heavyweight shot to the gut. Whenever I am self-reflecting here, it is always a wake-up call. The different hats I have in life, Christian, Husband, Father, Friend, and employee, all challenge my spiritual integrity, and yes, I recognize all these hats I wear that my Spiritual Integrity should be the same.
I had lunch with a Pastor Friend and had this discussion on integrity with all these hats, and his response was eye-opening; he said don’t forget to be a son also.
As men, we must be sure in our integrity that being one of God’s children is an important piece.
