History

The idea of The Real Man Card was started with my accountability partner in 2009. We both traveled a lot and would check in with one another as often as we could. It was great except for those times when one of us needed to chat and the other one was busy. We wanted something that would keep both of us on the same page, even when we couldn’t be in touch.

And that’s when we thought of the Man Card. A simple, daily resource designed to challenge and encourage one another to serve whoever, whenever, wherever God desires.

As the idea grew, and as God led, we produced a physical card that men could carry with them into their day. We believe God wants us to have a sword (the Scripture) at our disposal at all times. So the card became a guide for men to use they battle their way through life and fight back the enemy. Each day has a theme, and each theme has a focus and verse for each day of the month. Our hope is that we gather an army of men who are thinking, praying, trusting, and living these truths and promises together.

The project has been long and tough at times. We have a great team that God is using to take this simple idea and turn it into a resource that is calling and challenging men. It’s all God’s work, and it is amazing to see it unfolds before your eyes.
